NG-12_patchNovember 4, 2019: Northrop Grumman’s unmanned Cygnus spacecraft successfully reached the International Space Station (ISS) this morning. Flying the 12th cargo mission, and the first mission under the Commercial Resupply Services 2 (CRS2) contract with NASA, the S. S. Alan Bean was captured via robotic arm at 9:10 UTC today after launching from Cape Canaveral on November 2nd atop an Antares 230 rocket.

Odyssey personnel supported from the Mission Control Complex at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX throughout the rendezvous and capture. Cygnus will remain attached to ISS for approximately two months before departing for a destructive atmospheric re-entry. Congratulations to the entire Cygnus team!
