Orbital_Sciences_CRS_Flight_6_PatchJune 22, 2016: The Orbital ATK Cygnus has successfully completed the OA-6 mission, its fifth Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS) and its longest to date. Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as Cygnus was released and departed from ISS on June 14, with release occurring at 13:30 GMT. Re-entry followed on June 22, with successful destructive re-entry completed at 13:05 GMT. Odyssey’s role in Cygnus development was extensive, including Systems Engineering design support, Concept of Operations development, Robotic Capture design and analysis, and Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software.
