June 11, 2017: Orbital ATK has successfully completed the Cygnus OA-7 mission, its seventh Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as Cygnus was released and departed from ISS on June 4, with release occurring at 13:10 GMT. After conducting the Saffire-III experiment and releasing several cubesats, re-entry occurred on June 11, with successful destructive re-entry completed at 17:08 GMT.

Odyssey’s role in Cygnus development was extensive, including Systems Engineering design support, Concept of Operations development, Robotic Capture design and analysis, and Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software.
