Cygnus_OA-8_grappledNovember 14, 2017: Orbital ATK’s unmanned Cygnus spacecraft successfully reached the International Space Station (ISS) this morning on the eighth of its planned cargo missions under the Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) contract with NASA. Cygnus launched from Cape Canaveral on November 12th atop an Antares 230 rocket, successfully reaching ISS and being captured via robotic arm at 10:04 UTC on November 14, 2017.

Odyssey personnel supported from the Mission Control Complex at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX throughout the rendezvous and capture. Cygnus will remain attached to ISS for approximately three weeks before departing for a destructive atmospheric re-entry. Congratulations to the entire Orbital ATK team!
