February 28, 2013: On March 1, 2013, SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft will launch on its third flight to the International Space Station (ISS). This flight, called CRS-2, is the second Dragon cargo resupply mission to ISS under SpaceX’s Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) contract with NASA. Launch is currently scheduled for 15:10 GMT Friday from Cape Canaveral, Florida, with final approach to ISS and capture via robotic arm by the on-board crew to occur at approximately 11:30 GMT on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Odyssey personnel will be supporting the Dragon rendezvous and capture in real-time from the Mission Control Complex at Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.
