SpX-11 Mission Complete

July 3, 2017: SpaceX’s Dragon spacecraft has completed its eleventh Commercial Resupply Services (CRS) cargo mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Odyssey engineers supported from the Johnson Space Center Mission Control Complex as release and departure from ISS went smoothly this morning. Re-entry followed a few hours later, with successful splashdown occurring in the Pacific Ocean at 12:12 GMT. Odyssey’s role in Dragon development was extensive, including Dragon Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) and System Engineering design support, as well as Independent Verification and Validation of all safety critical software. Congratulations to the entire SpaceX and NASA team! For more information on the SpaceX Dragon or the SpX-11 mission, visit the SpaceX website: http://www.spacex.com
