PLATO Featured in NASA Tech Briefs

September 1, 2014: The Partition Level Application Test for Orion (PLATO) software tool was recently featured in NASA Tech Briefs: PLATO Tech Brief. PLATO is a software tool developed by NASA Johnson Space Center’s ER6 branch that allows sending of data and commands to the Orion prototype flight software, and analysis of results, in real time.

Odyssey engineers have been actively involved in the development of PLATO for several years. They and the other development team members were awarded the JSC Exceptional Software Award in 2013 for their outstanding work on this tool. Congratulations to them also for this further recognition by NASA!
